My wife let me buy a DSLR right before our honeymoon, and I started making stop motion/time-lapse videos to get familiar with the equipment before we left.
The problem is, once you set yourself up with a tripod and an intervalometer, you end up with a thousand still images an need to make a video out of them. To rectify the situation, I put together a Python script for creating stop-motion videos from sets of still images. I’ve used it for a few projects in the past and figure it’s worth sharing with the world. You can grab the source code on Github. It’s also my first work released under the WTFPL.
